Finance Department Principal Chief Advisor Amit Mitra also expressed disappointment over reduced budgetary allocations for education and welfare schemes. BJP leaders, however, lauded the infrastructure push through rail and freight corridors as a boon for industrialization in West Bengal ahead of upcoming elections.
