More Twenty20 leaders quit party, join Congress
Twenty20 leaders, dissatisfied with the party's decision to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), have joined the Congress. The leaders accused Sabu M. Jacob, the Twenty20 president, of making false promises and were welcomed by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee vice president V.P. Sajeeendran. The defections come after several other Twenty20 members, including former block panchayat president Raseena Pareeth, had joined the Congress earlier this month.
