Congress leaders met to strategize for the upcoming Budget session of Parliament, focusing on key issues. Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, respectively, led the meeting which included discussions on the replacement of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, additional tariffs over the purchase of Russian crude oil, and environmental concerns. The party also plans to raise issues related to contaminated water in Indore and Ahmedabad, as well as the restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. Congress leaders will meet again on Wednesday to finalize a joint strategy for the session.
