
Uttar Pradesh inked deals worth ₹3 lakh crore at WEF in Davos: State Finance Minister Khanna
Uttar Pradesh State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna announced that the state signed agreements worth ₹3 lakh crore with global investors at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos. The largest agreement was with AM Green, a Netherlands-based company for an AI-powered data transfer project estimated at $25 billion. The agreements covered sectors like data centers, renewable energy, green hydrogen, defense, tourism, food processing, logistics, electric vehicles, pharmaceuticals and healthcare manufacturing. Uttar Pradesh's delegation included Finance Secretary Deepak Kumar, Chief Minister's Secretary Amit Singh, Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand, and NEDA Director Indrajeet Singh, who attributed the positive response to improved infrastructure and a clean image.
