CM Stalin opposes NEET for Allied and Health Care Courses

M.K. Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, criticized the decision by the National Commission for Allied and Health Care Professions (NCAHP) to make the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) mandatory for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) degrees. Stalin argued that this decision was hasty and without consultation with state governments, and would exacerbate existing issues caused by NEET's implementation for MBBS admissions. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and withdraw the mandate immediately.
