Prayagraj mela administration serves another notice to protesting seer

Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, a religious leader, is facing accusations of disturbing the peace and provoking law-and-order problems at the Prayagraj mela. Prayagraj mela authorities issued another notice to him, threatening to revoke his land allotment and ban him from participating in future events. The seer claims he was mistreated by police and alleges that his followers were assaulted. Political parties like the Samajwadi Party and Congress have come out in support of the seer, while Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya urged him to end his protest.
