Congress spreading ‘lies’ about VB-G RAM G: Government
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Rural Development Minister, refuted claims by Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi that the new VB-G RAM G Act would weaken employment rights. Chouhan asserted that the scheme, designed to replace MGNREGA, will strengthen the Right to Work and provide 125 days of work instead of the previous 100 days. He also clarified that the scheme would be implemented in all panchayats and wouldn't place additional burden on states. Chouhan stated that the VB-G RAM G Act is for the development of villages, and the Congress's campaign against it is based on misinformation.
