CM tells officials to focus on completion of irrigation projects
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to prioritize the completion of various irrigation projects by 2026, including widening of the Handri-Neeva canals and Veligonda, Uttarandhra, and Nallamala Sagar projects. He emphasized boosting the horticulture sector in Rayalaseema, implementing the Purvodaya scheme, utilizing funds from the Jal Jeevan Mission and SASCI schemes, and leveraging the Kaleshwaram project surplus water for both Telugu States. The meeting was attended by Ministers Payyavula Keshav, K. Atchannaidu, and Nimmala Rama Naidu, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, and others.
