Cong. to protest against new rural employment law
Congress party will hold a day-night protest in front of Lok Bhavan on January 13th and 14th against the replacement of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) with the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (VB-G RAM G) law. The protest is part of a nationwide 45-day agitation launched by the party. The event will be inaugurated by K.C. Venugopal, AICC general secretary (organisation), on Tuesday at 10 a.m., with Sunny Joseph presiding.
