The airport is expected to be operational by June 30, 2026, providing direct and indirect employment for thousands of unemployed youth in the region. Naidu urged the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to establish more skill development centers to meet the needs of companies that will be located near the airport. He also requested the construction of roads to ensure a smooth journey for air passengers and boost economic activity.
