CPI(M), Congress, and BJP draw battle lines over Sabarimala theft, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and religious fundamentalism

CPI(M), Congress, and the BJP have outlined their campaign strategies ahead of the Kerala Assembly election. CPI(M) State secretary M.V. Govindan accused the BJP and Congress of aligning with extremist groups like the JIH to exploit religious divisions for political gain. BJP State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar countered, claiming that the Congress-CPI(M)-JIH alliance represents a dangerous realignment in Kerala. The Congress accused both the CPI(M) and BJP of attempting to revive old wounds and incite religious schism for electoral advantage.
