
Telugu States need to avoid disputes over sharing of water, says Chandrababu Naidu
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that he is not interested in disputes with Telangana over the Godavari river water, preferring to focus on its judicious use for the benefit of Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized the potential of the Polavaram irrigation project and interlinking rivers to benefit both states. Naidu also highlighted the success of the Pattiseema Lift Irrigation scheme in supplying water to drought-prone areas and promoting horticulture in Rayalaseema. The Chief Minister further stated that land disputes will be addressed through the Mee Bhumi - Mee Hakku program, which aims to ensure permanent documentation of land records.
