Despite Shah’s ‘NDA govt.’ stand, EPS says AIADMK will form govt. on its own
Edappadi K. Palaniswami, AIADMK general secretary, stated that his party would form the next government in Tamil Nadu on its own after the upcoming Assembly elections. He criticized the DMK government for corruption and alleged that it was demanding bribes from stone crusher units and had allocated funds for "swindling" research on women's self-help groups. Palaniswami also claimed that the AIADMK would win a massive victory in the election, citing its strong alliance with the BJP. The upcoming elections will put an end to family and dynasty politics, he asserted.
