DMK govt. failed to fulfil poll promises, alleges L. Murugan
L. Murugan, BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, criticized the DMK government in Chennai, alleging that they failed to fulfill promises made during their 2021 election campaign. He cited the DMK's promise to increase the minimum working days under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme from 100 to 150, which was replaced by the VB-G RAM G scheme providing for 125 days of work. Murugan asserted that the DMK would lose power in the 2026 election and the National Democratic Alliance would take over.
