Hyderabad metropolitan being divided arbitrarily, will launch protests: BRS
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) accused the Congress Government in Telangana of attempting to arbitrarily divide the Hyderabad metropolitan region without proper planning or consultation. T. Srinivas Yadav, a former Minister and BRS Legislature Party deputy leader, announced plans for protests against the proposed division on January 17th at Secunderabad Railway Station and other locations. The BRS demanded the formation of a separate Secunderabad Corporation and warned of legal action against the government's decision.
