Vijayan Alleges UDF Allowing RSS Influence, Criticizes Governor's Police Call

On Saturday, Pinarayi Vijayan, Leader of the Opposition, alleged that the UDF government in Keralam is allowing Sangh Parivar influence to grow in higher education, leading to suppressed student protests and poor infrastructure. He criticized Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar’s decision to summon the State Police Chief regarding protesting students at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, alleging it undermines federal principles. Vijayan also questioned alleged double standards in banning student leaders while allowing VCs to attend RSS programs openly and demanded interventions to reverse Mangaluru's shift out of the Palakkad railway division.
