On August 09, 2026, H.D. Kumaraswamy and R. Ashok, along with over 1,000 supporters including farmers, launched a padayatra against the Bidadi Township Project from Bairamangala in Bengaluru South district under leadership of JD(S) Youth Wing president Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
