The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across several parts of India on Saturday as the monsoon advances. Fiscal Deficit Below 3% In 10 States, 13 See Revenue Surplus In 2024-25
The Comptroller and Auditor General's (CAG) State Finances 2024-25 report reveals that many Indian states continued to rely heavily on borrowing to cover their spending, exceeding the recommended fiscal deficit limit of 3% of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).
