A.P. Cabinet clears district reorganisation, mandal realignment

Andhra Pradesh's State Cabinet, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved a comprehensive reorganisation of districts and mandals, effective December 31st. The changes, based on public consultation, aim to improve administrative efficiency and access to public services. The cabinet approved adjustments in 17 districts, including the creation of the Polavaram district and the realignment of several mandals within existing districts. These changes are intended to streamline governance and enhance service delivery across the state.
