The Parliamentary Committee of Communications and Information Technology, led by Nishikant Dubey, gave Mark Zuckerberg a three-day ultimatum to apologise for removing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's July 23 video and take action against those responsible. If Facebook fails, the Safe Harbour Clause will be removed, allowing FIRs to be filed directly against officials. The committee warned that the central government would approve such actions.
