G. Parameshwara’s supporters revive demand for Dalit Chief Minister

Dalit leader Bilikere Raju and supporters of Home Minister G. Parameshwara are pushing for a Dalit Chief Minister in Karnataka, demanding Mr. Parameshwara's candidacy be supported at an upcoming convention in Mysuru. Mr. Raju stated that despite the AHINDA grouping comprising minorities, backward classes, and Dalits, Dalits have not been given their due recognition and a Dalit Chief Minister has been overdue for over 25 years. He emphasized the strength of Dalit voters in Karnataka and the need for action to achieve Mr. Parameshwara's candidacy.
