Rishav Ranjan of the Congress party’s legal cell reported that despite Delhi government orders to withdraw cases against protesters, Delhi Police continued summoning agitators until July 30, 2026. The Supreme Court had ordered the release of minors and restrained police from coercive actions but these were not fully implemented. Threats against young female participants persisted, with some being blindfolded during questioning. CJP legal teams are working to protect protesters, planning meetings with Delhi Police Commissioner and informing the Supreme Court about ongoing issues.
