Delhi to conduct door-to-door verification for Lakshmi Yojana eligibility

The Delhi government plans to conduct door-to-door verification for women eligible under the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, which offers Rs 2,500 monthly assistance. Verification checks include having more than three children, being a resident and registered voter of Delhi, paying income tax, and meeting other criteria. The scheme aims to ensure transparency and reach needy beneficiaries while promoting family planning. Registration starts August 1, with disbursements beginning on Raksha Bandhan.
