In a written reply to Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Ramnath Thakur informed that Bhagirath Choudhary, Union Minister and MP of Ajmer, received financial assistance under the National Horticulture Board (NHB) schemes in 2026, which he refunded. Lumba Ram, BJP MP from Sirohi, Rajasthan, also received aid in 2025. The NHB provides credit-linked subsidies for commercial horticulture and related infrastructure to eligible applicants through a transparent process; Choudhary's subsidy will be returned to the NHB by his bank.
