TTD land allotment for resort a grave sacrilege: CPI

Narayana, a national executive member of the Communist Party of India (CPI), criticized the allotment of a site belonging to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in Alipiri for building a private resort. He called the decision "a grave sacrilege and an unacceptable assault on faith, public interest, and temple sanctity," expressing concern over the use of sacred land for commercial purposes. Narayana questioned the TTD's authority to make such decisions and suspected government involvement behind the proposal.
