The Delhi Police reviewed CCTV footage from July 20-22 of protests at Jantar Mantar, identifying 2,873 individuals with criminal records, including those accused of murder and rape. Footage showed protesters breaching barricades, attacking police, vandalizing vehicles, and damaging property. Many identified had multiple criminal cases against them. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) called off protests after the resignation of the Union education minister.
