After students called off protests against exam paper leaks following Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation as Union Education Minister, Narendra Modi announced a high-powered task force on exam reforms led by Nandan Nilekani. The government plans to introduce an amendment Bill for swift punishment of those involved in leaks and focus on women’s reservation law and delimitation during the Monsoon Session. If not introduced now, these Bills will be brought during the Winter Session due to constitutional constraints tied to the 2027 Census.
