
KPSC suspends veterinary officer selection list, forms sub-committee to investigate malpractices

On Sunday, the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) suspended the selection list for veterinary officers and formed an internal sub-committee to investigate alleged malpractices in the recruitment process. The Vidhana Soudha Police registered a FIR against KPSC Chairman Shivashankarappa S. Sahukar, other officials, and 29 candidates. Mr. Sahukar faces another FIR for allegedly favoring his daughters' selection to government posts, leading the Governor to suspend him. BJP leaders vowed to raise the issue in the upcoming Monsoon Session of the State legislature.
