The BWCSC (Executive) Officers’ Association argues that the deletion process bypassed statutory roles of EROs and did not provide electors with a "reasonable opportunity of being heard". They claim this action infringes upon electors' rights and raises concerns about ERO accountability. The association requested the West Bengal CEO to issue directions for greater clarity in ERO work.
