Vikas Pathak, BJP Politics Expert with 17 Years Experience, Publishes "Contesting Nationalisms"

Vikas Pathak, deputy associate editor with The Indian Express, has over 17 years of experience covering national politics and the BJP. He worked previously at The Hindustan Times and The Hindu, and covered elections including the 2009 and 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Vikas taught at several institutions and authored "Contesting Nationalisms: Hinduism, Secularism and Untouchability in Colonial Punjab," widely reviewed by academic journals and newspapers. He holds degrees from JNU and Rajasthan College and has been invited to speak at top academic venues.
