
ACC appoints new secretaries in various ministries following CJP protests
On Thursday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, appointed new secretaries in various ministries. Naresh Pal Gangwar became Higher Education Secretary, replacing Vineet Joshi, who was moved to Panchayati Raj Secretary. T K Anil Kumar took over as School Education and Literacy Secretary. These changes follow protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Additionally, several other secretaries were appointed across different departments including Urban Development, Labour, National Human Rights Commission, Mines, and Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
