
Cockroach Janta Party Protests Turn Violent, Police Officer Injured
Heavy security was deployed at Jantar Mantar in Delhi as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) continued protesting against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leaks. A police officer was injured when miscreants attacked with stones and bottles near Tolstoy Marg, Connaught Place. Police also stopped a delegation of opposition MPs from meeting activist Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital. Activists demand assurances no legal action will be taken against protesters to end the 25-day hunger strike.
