CPI(M) Activists Denied Bail: Court Rejects 22, Probes Senior Leaders
On Wednesday, the Thiruvananthapuram District and Sessions Court rejected bail applications for two more CPI(M) activists accused of attacking ED officials during a raid at Leader of Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan’s residence. This brings the total denied to 22; seven others were denied on Tuesday. Unnikrishnan, an accused, filed a new petition to attend his critically ill father. The court is set to review this on Friday.
