
Thackeray launches Ram Raksha Andolan, attacks BJP over temple protection failures
On Saturday, Uddhav Thackeray, chief of the Shiv Sena (UBT), launched the Ram Raksha Andolan in Nagpur, attacking the BJP for failing to protect temples and exploiting Hindutva. Accompanied by leaders Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut, he urged Vidarbha's people to withdraw support from the BJP, claiming corruption in temple administration. He criticized the Centre over activist Sonam Wangchuk’s detention and challenged RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on governance issues.
