On July 18 at 11:30 a.m., Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1, India's first privately developed orbital rocket, will launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Developed with carbon composite structure and in-house propulsion systems, Vikram-1 aims to carry small satellites into Low Earth Orbit. The test flight includes six payloads and a postcard from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Launch authorization was granted by IN-SPACe.
