Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India's first indigenous hydrogen-powered train on the 89-km Jind–Sonipat section of Northern Railway in Haryana. Designed by the Research, Design & Standards Organisation (RDSO), it features a 1200 kW fuel cell system and can carry up to 2,600 passengers at speeds up to 75 kmph.
