Telangana Irrigation Minister Assures 67 TMC Godavari Water for Sitarama Project
On July 17, 2026, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister, assured the timely completion of irrigation projects in Telangana by resolving administrative, financial, and legal hurdles. He highlighted securing Central Water Commission clearance for 67 TMC of Godavari water for the Sitarama Project and directed officials to prioritize land acquisition and compensation payments. The review meeting was held at Sathupalli tunnel point with Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
