Kerala to open help desks in village offices to help eligible people excluded from SIR draft list

Kerala's government will establish help desks in village offices to assist eligible voters who were mistakenly excluded from the draft electoral roll. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced this initiative, stating that ensuring all eligible voters are included is crucial for a democratic system. The state has assigned District Collectors to prepare these facilities and will utilize Anganwadi workers, ASHAs, and Kudumbashree workers to identify excluded voters. The government also plans awareness campaigns in educational institutions to include those aged 18 and above studying there.
