IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the scheme aims to attract ₹4 lakh crore in investments and produce semiconductors worth ₹2 lakh crore. ISM 2.0 covers six pillars, including chip design, and incentivizes suppliers of raw materials like minerals and gases.
