
Anti-Corruption Bureau raids 11 sites, arrests engineer with assets worth up to ₹100 crore
Large-scale asset accumulation by a public official raises serious concerns about corruption.
In a disproportionate assets case, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested B Ravinder, chief engineer of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, after raids at 11 locations. Seized assets were valued at Rs 9.24 crore but estimated to be worth over Rs 100 crore in current market value, including properties and cash. B Ravinder was sent to judicial remand with further investigation ongoing.
