NCP-SP to contest Mumbai polls with MVA, says party
NCP president Shashikant Shinde announced that the party will contest the upcoming Mumbai municipal elections as part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The decision comes after discussions with other MVA allies, including Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress. While there have been talks of an alliance between the NCP-SP and Ajit Pawar's NCP in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, no official proposal has been received.
