BJP Candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha Seeks Nitish Kumar's Blessings for Bankipur Election

On July 12, 2026, Neeraj Kumar Sinha, BJP candidate for the Bankipur Assembly byelection, met former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence to seek blessings after being nominated on July 10 following Abhishek Kumar's withdrawal. Accompanied by BJP State president Sanjay Saraogi and Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh, Sinha pledged to continue the development initiatives of Nitin Nabin, who vacated the seat for a Rajya Sabha election. He thanked the party leadership and interacted with business leaders, promising to address their concerns if elected. Both Sinha and Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor will file nomination papers on July 13.
