Adhikari refuses lynching label, calls Indrajeet Mondal's death murder by election losers
A death is being downplayed as 'murder' after being identified as a political opponent.
On Saturday, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari refused to label Indrajeet Mondal’s death as lynching, instead calling it murder by those who lost recent elections. He handed Rs 25 lakh and a job letter to Mondal's family, promising severe punishment for offenders under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Adhikari also assured legal aid to the Kamduni rape-murder victim’s family in their Supreme Court case.
