Kumaraswamy Alleges Congress Pressuring Officials to Rig Karnataka Voter Lists
HD Kumaraswamy, Union minister and Janata Dal Secular chief, has accused the DK Siddaramaiah government of conducting irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in Karnataka. He alleges that the government is pressuring Election staff to include illegal immigrants and dead people on the voter rolls and directing BLOs to support illegal activities. Kumaraswamy claims the government is misusing its powers to manipulate the SIR process, citing instances where voters are being directed who are not registered.
