Shah Vows to Transform Delhi's Ridge, Plant 70 Lakh Trees in 3 Years

Amit Shah, Rekha Gupta, and other officials launched Delhi's 70-lakh tree plantation drive under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. The initiative aims to restore the capital's Ridge forest by removing invasive species and planting native trees, with a goal of creating "the lungs of Delhi." The government also unveiled plans for 100 Oxygen Parks, expanded electric bus fleets, and a new high-security prison in Narela.
