Modi Unveils "Made in India" Chips: Exporting to Japan, Powering AI Revolution

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the CG Semi Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in Sanand, India, marking a significant step towards building the country's entire electronics value chain. He emphasized that this expansion will support India's goal of becoming "Viksit Bharat" and empower its youth to drive advancements in AI, robotics, and next-generation technology with Made in India chips. The government aims to establish a complete semiconductor ecosystem in India, from design to fabrication and packaging.
