Two Gujarat farm workers swept away by floodwaters, 3 dead

Heavy rainfall in Gujarat has resulted in three deaths. Two tribal farm workers drowned in Tapi district after water overflowed from a stream, while an elderly man died in Valsad district when the roof of his hut collapsed. The Valod Mamlatdar reported the deaths to higher authorities and the district disaster management officials, along with a Fire Department team, responded to the incident. The Valsad Disaster Management Department recorded rainfall totals ranging from 193 mm in Valsad to 98 mm in Nanaponda.
