
NC’s Farooq Abdullah to seek INDIA bloc, J&K parties’ support for upcoming Jantar Mantar sit-in over Statehood
The National Conference (NC) announced it will formally invite members of the INDIA bloc and J&K parties to join its sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar on July 20th during Parliament's monsoon session. The decision was made by NC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who also stated that formal invitations will be sent to all political parties in J&K with personal letters from Mr. Abdullah. The NC aims to press for the restoration of Statehood and constitutional guarantees for J&K.
