Odisha to supply school textbooks afresh following massive controversy over errors

The Odisha government announced it would correct errors in school textbooks after facing widespread criticism. School and Mass Education Secretary N Thirumala Naik stated that students will receive error-free textbooks soon, with the corrected versions uploaded to the official website. The government has also sought feedback from teachers, parents, researchers, subject experts, and the public before final printing. Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik criticized the government's handling of the situation, prompting protests demanding the resignation of School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond.
