Congress MPs from Uttar Pradesh, led by State unit chief Ajay Rai, visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday evening after facing allegations of embezzlement within the temple's donations. The delegation claimed they were either stopped, confined to their homes, or detained by police during their attempt to reach the shrine. Rai demanded an impartial investigation into the temple trust and called for the inclusion of seers and Ayodhya residents in its management.
